CONVERTING BASE 10 - FRACTIONS
The most important thing we have to remember is that we have a decimal point.
Just like in rounding we have to remember where the tenth point is and then the hundreds etc.
We always keep the decimal point there just so that we do not get mixed up.
This video is very well explained and if you work through it you will find that it is incredible easy, and everyone who is scared of maths will see that they do not have to be, as this is very easy.

So now that you have watched the video I am sure that you will understand everything of base 10 fractions.
It is just so very important to do this as many times as it is needed for you to understand and never forget to add the number from the right to the left.
When we do this we might get a bigger whole number, but that is the whole idea.
You must really go back to your lesson on rounding if you do not understand and that will make this very easy for you.
I have put a lot of videos in here for you if you follow them one by one before an exam I am sure you will really do good in your maths test and you will have nothing to be scared of.
Always remember to read through the test first and then think back to all the rules you learnt. Of course do not forget that your multiplication tables are just as important.
Take a deep breath and then start writing your test.
If you know all that we have done, you will be so happy because it will mean that you have really done well in your test or exam.
Children sometimes think that maths is very difficult but it is not if you just remember your rules and you will find out that it is actually fun once you find out what you got for your test.
Never think you know everything, go through them all until you are very sure that you really know how they each work, as there are definitely different rules and if we follow them, we will never make mistakes.
