How Education Gave This Former Prisoner a Second Chance | Gateways
Sometimes mothers do not realize how important it is to let their children know that they are the ones at fault.
Here is a young man that went to prison at the age of 15 and he told his mother how the system failed him.
She then told him it is not the system it is you.
You have a chance that you are not using and that is when he realized that she was right.
He started changing and using the system the way it was to be used and that is how he ended up becoming something he never thought he would be able to do.
When you listen to this video you can hear how he changed and what the program gateway did for him.
As he says children should be loved and looked after if they fall into the wrong world, they must get themselves out of it.
With help this video we see that it is possible for people to change and become good people.
I am not saying all of them can, but those who try will succeed.
