HOW TO FIND OUT WHAT A FRACTION IS.
Today we are doing some easy fractions so that we can understand what a fraction means. The fractions represent parts of a whole. The top number tells us how many we have.
The bottom number tells us what the whole part is. This is just the basic of what a fraction is and how they work. In tomorrow’s lesson we will go a little further as that will explain more about fractions. First we have to just know why we have fractions and that they are a part of something.

Once you have watched this video you will understand how easy it is and why we have fractions. Anything in life can be turned into fractions.
What is very nice about a fraction is if you only have one slab of chocolate, and you want to share it with your friends. That does mean you count your friends and the work out how big a part each of them must get. There will always be happiness as they all get the same and none of them think that you like one more than the other. It is so important to see that everyone is happy. The best way for this to be done is by using your fractions.
