INVENTION OF BRAILLE
Today I want to teach children about braille.
It is so important for children to know that all people cannot see and many years ago there was writing and reading system invented for these people.
It is so important for everyone to read and for that reason these blind people had to find a way of reading.
The truth is it started out with someone who could see and it was for a very different reason.
Braille was the beginning of how blind people could read but it was only later called braille.
If you watch my video you will see the whole story of how this happened, and for what reason.
Then we find a boy who never gave up and that is so important for all children to understand.
Even though he could not see he kept going until it was perfect for all blind people.
He was not born blind but after an accident he became blind.
His surname was Braille and that is when they started calling this reading method braille.
I truly hope you enjoy my video for children and it is so much better to teach children these things when they are still small as that can help them to understand that everyone must be able to read.
The other thing that they will learn from this is something that I have written about and that is never give up.
If you keep trying you definitely will succeed and that is just as important for children to learn.
