LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR
Today we are doing something that we have done before.
Only today we are going to follow the easiest way to find the lowest common denominator so that we do not have to simplify.
It is so easy and I have found that children sometimes use a big denominator that is not wrong, but because they have to simplify they can make mistakes again.
It is sad if your sum is right but you do make mistakes when you simplify and that will mean your sum will be wrong.
In this video we use the lowest common denominator and we are sure our sums are right.
This man can really show you how and if you keep watching these videos I am sure you will all do well in maths at school without any trouble.
The reason that I always say we must know our multiplication tables are very important here as that is how we work it out.
So please when you watch this video, enjoy and think. I really think you all know your multiplication tables by now and that is the reason I think you are going to be very impressed with this video.
Do you see now why I think it is so easy to find the common denominator as it is just a matter of watching when you have two of the same numbers on both sides.
That will then be your common denominator. Do you see how easy it is.
Just think now we do not have to simplify and no mistakes will appear.
