Johan sebastians, He was a young man who, to pay for his studies, worked selling sweets from door to door.

One day he had sold almost nothing, therefore, he did not have any money. It was time to have lunch and he was hungry, he decided to lose his shame and ask for something to eat at the next door he touched. But, he got nervous when a beautiful young lady opened the door for him. And instead of asking for food, he asked for only one glass of water. She however took pity on him and brought him a glass of milk. He drank timidly and asked:

__ How much do I owe you, miss?

You do not owe me anything __ she answered, My mother taught us not to accept any payment for doing a favor.

__Then, miss, I thank you very much __ replied the candy seller with much gratitude.

The boy, said goodbye to that house and although he continued selling his candy, he could not forget that episode of kindness that lady had with him.
I thought all that afternoon, about the goodness of the lady's heart with him. With so much love I give him that glass of milk, and he said: recover strength, to finish the afternoon!, Ummm it was very cold and delicious! I could not stop thinking.

Years later, that young woman became very ill. The doctors in his village could not cure her, because she had a very rare disease. Finally, they sent her to the big city, where they called specialists to be cured. Dr. Johan Sebastian was called to consult him, and when he heard the name of that woman and the city from where she came, a strange and strong light filled his eyes and his interior began to tremble and thoughts came and went looking for his name.

Immediately he went to see her. He recognized her immediately, that image and gratitude to his heart came from that cold glass that calmed the hunger of that half day, and decided to do everything possible to save his life. After a long struggle, I win the battle. Dr. Johan, asked the hospital administration to send him the total bill of expenses to approve it. He checked it, wrote something on the edge and sent the bill to the patient's room. When she saw the envelope she was afraid to open it, because she suspected that her account was going to be too high and that she was sure that she would not have how to pay it.
Finally, he opened it, and read; "Paid completely for many years, with a glass of very cold milk" (signed and authorized) by Dr. Johan Sebastians.

Personal challenge:

  • Should we help our neighbor by asking for a reward? Brief explanation
  • Do you think we should cooperate only with those we know? Why?
  • Do you know any similar story? I'd like to meet you, tell me in the comments, briefly.
  • If someone requires your help in extreme cases, what can you do to help him? Would you be willing?

ORIGINAL HISTORY BASED ON REAL FACTS.

"It is worth noting that, regardless of not knowing someone, we must help when they really need it".

Giving is a great gift that not all of us have, if it is instilled in children from a very young age, this gives them a more solid base in their values. Excellent, nice history and very educational.

HELLO FRIEND ROSERIN THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO WORK TO PAY THEIR STUDIES AND MORE IN THESE TIMES. BLESSINGS

I love your story @roseri, and how good it reminds me. God bless you always ...

What a beautiful story, I even get a tear, really values like gratitude are fundamental for education and training as a person, that's why we have to teach our children! Thanks for sharing!!!

I think it depends too at times, I have unfortunately been taken advantage off in really serious situations. That being said, I would still help them if given another opportunity/chance

Very nice and moving friendly story, the effort always makes us fulfill our dreams. regards

Hi, beautiful story. I think we should neither hesitate nor ask for a reward when we are asked to do anything which takes us so few as giving someone a glass of water or milk.

I personally do not like to take the help even of friends for granted and want to give something back, when I receive a lot of help.

Also I rarely help people who rely on help because they refuse to care for themselves. I know it is hard to distiguish. And I love to help when I can have a long term effect - what made me become a teacher.

For emergency help in extreme cases:
Join the red cross, the red crescent or the magen david adom - depending on where you live.

It is a great reminder to all, to all, to help people in need and I thank steemit for giving me such an opportunity to do it through so many ways
