Education is never-ending process in a child's life. Just going to school is not enough for a children to learn well. Teachers usually feel alone in this long run. It is important to support them with the help of parents. Team work between teachers and parents is essential for a good education process.
Parents are usually quite busy with their life. However, nothing is more important than our children. It is important to be in touch with teachers and school to help them in learning process. If parents are not aware of development of their children, it means there is a big lack of parenting.
What can be done to help teachers in this process? I don't mean that parents should talk to teachers all the time. However, having monthly meetings with teachers and exchanging opinions about children can be really helpful. These kind of meetings can teachers feel more confident about their job.
As parents have some others things to think about, they may not see some problems that their children are facing. Since teachers and students are all the time together, it is easier for teachers to observe students and share their opinions with parents.

Teachers can't be with students all the time. When students end the day at school and go back to their homes, it is time for parents to be the teacher at home. Teacher usually provide homework for children and ask them to do them at home. However, it is not possible to check them how they are doing their homework.
In this point, parents should be in contact with teachers and inform them about how their children behave at home. If they don't study anything at home, they should inform teachers as soon as possible so that team work between them can happen well and teachers can correct possible mistakes in their learning process.
When students feel that there is a strong communication between their parents and teachers, they might feel more responsible and show extra success in their lessons. This strong relationship will influence them positively for sure. It is the way of creating some positive pressure on them.
If you want to have an active role in your child's learning life, you have to create strong relations with teachers. It is a common thing that teachers can see the problems children might face. Learning this from a teacher can help parents to take proper steps and make things better for children in all aspects.
