How beautiful is a little green plant, a flower? I love sitting on a bench in the Drakensberg and watching over the beauty of nature. Where every flower looks different, every leave, every stalk etc.

Science experiment: (Grow your own grass house)

You will need the following:

1. 4 standard kitchen sponges (new)
2. Fast growing grass seeds
3. Ruler
4. Permanent Marker
5. Pointed tip scissors
6. Large plastic food-storage container that serves as a green house.
7. Spray bottle
8. Sewing pins (optional)

Instructions

1. Clean the new sponges under he running water and squeeze them a few times. Let the sponges dry slightly.
2. Draw wall and yard shapes on the sponges and then use the scissors to cut them out.
3. Assemble the house after you have cut out the pieces.
4. Spray but don't soak the house with water.
5. Sprinkle a generous layer of seeds evenly over the roof and yard.
6. Make sure all the spots are covered.
7. Use the sprayer to spray water over the seeds with an upward spray motion.
8. Make sure you keep the house moist, warm, well lit and covered until all the grass has begun to grow.
9. If you want to prevent mold make sure to keep the lid a little bit higher.
10. If you regularly water the house it the water can grow for several weeks.
