Delegation Curation Project Update - An Initiative by @steem-hodler

As you know, the @steemitmamas has received a generous delegation of 7500 SP from @steem-hodler and @news-today! We are the first recipients of their Delegation Initiative. If you missed our announcement you can read it here in our initial post! We are so grateful for their generosity and care for the life of Steemit!

We had a BLAST yesterday reading great content and supporting our community with nice upvotes! It feels great to be able to give back in a big way...

Yesterday @khimgoh and I learned that we needed to vote on more posts than we expected. Our goal is to deplete our VP down to about 80% everyday by voting on posts with a 50% vote weight. We want to spread our vote as much as possible to share the love with many. After voting on 20 posts we realized we still had some cushion left to do more! We are also giving a vote to our delegators daily!

We also decided we didn’t want to clutter up our feed too much which in turn clutters your feed as well. So instead of resteeming every post we vote on we will only select a few of our favorites. Speaking of favorites, here are some featured posts from yesterday’s upvotes...

What I won't be trying are the insects and bugs, sold as snacks. I was once tricked into eating one of these fried worms. It wasn’t bad until my prankster friend told me what I was chewing on. Chaos ensued from all who were tricked. I just swallowed quickly... guess having it in my stomach was better than having it in my mouth.

What are their intentions? I wondered. Are they simply passing through on their search for higher ground, or do they intend to take up permanent residence? It was impossible to tell. Being that I was extremely outnumbered, I began to panic a little. I got the vacuum cleaner.

Reading this post was as if I was reading an adventure book. The way @ginnyannette walks us through her experience was as if you were right there with her. Her adventure with insects and the vacuum cleaner will surely have your attention :)
