Steemit Sandwich Contest Week 75 - CONTEST NOW OPEN! - [3 Prizes]
Ingredients
It's Japanese German fusion. The butter roll I baked is quite Japanese-ish. It's soft and fluffy. The ingredients are German typical combination ;)
- Homemade butter rolls
- Butter
- Jagdwurst (German cooked sausage)
- Bergkäse (Semi hard mountain? cheese)
- Paprika
- Cucumber
Small digression
I knew the contest and wanted to participate in it for long but somehow I didn't. When I post an idea about @breadbaker's baking contest/challenge, @breadcentric mentioned SSC.
These days I make sandwiches for my partner for his lunch at office. Finally it's time to participate SSC. And why not with bread I bake by myself as an enthusiastic hobby bread baker :) This time with butter rolls I baked yesterday.
The recipe of the butter rolls are from Tomizawa Shoten's website (a Japanese baking supply store).
長いこと参加したかった@jaybirdさんのサンドイッチコンテスト、その名も Steemit Sandwich Contest (SSC)の第75回に参加します。
このコンテスト、知ってはいたもののタイミングを逃しに逃していました。ちょうど先月@breadbakersでコンテストをしたらどうだろうと投稿した時に@breadcentricさんもコメントでこのコンテストについて書いていて、最近お父ちゃんのお弁当にサンドイッチを作っていることもあり、チャンス！やっと参加できました。
パンは日本風の柔らかいバターロールですが、具はドイツのど定番のハム、チーズ、キュウリにパプリカで、日独フュージョン。バターロールのレシピは富澤商店のものをもとにしています。
うちはドイツの住宅の例にもれず照明が暖色かつ弱めで、朝はいい写真が撮れず心残りですが、初のSSC参加達成したのでよしよし :)

Your bread looks amazing. I love fresh baked rolls....love the sausage and cheese looks wonderful! :) I always enjoy cucumbers, the crunch is a great add! So glad you joined SSC this week!
What a curious contest! And it seems very delicious. I wish to know Japanese to understand better the recipe, though. Hugs and good luck un the contest!

富澤商店のウェブサイトは製菓・製パン材料だけでなくレシピもとても豊富で時々うろうろみてまわっています :) たしかにこのハム、とてもドイツ的かも。スーパーで賞味期限が近いからか30%オフになっていたので買って来ました。お父ちゃんが数日で食べてしまうので問題ありません w

手作りバターロールのサンドイッチいいですね〜富澤商店にレシピがあるのは知らなかったです。
富澤のウェブサイト、パンのレシピ豊富で他にも食パン、ライ麦と全粒粉のパンなどいくつか定番で作るパンがあります。見だすと止まらないのは危険ですがおすすめです :D
Bergkäseチーズ、オーストラリアにも売っているかな？と思い、ネットで調べてみましたが見つからず⋯。チーズ大好きな私としては気になります (￣▽￣)

直訳すると山のチーズで、エメンタールなどに近いと思います。私はチーズ大好きでドイツは近隣の国のおいしいチーズ含め手頃な値段でたくさんの種類を食べられて天国なのですが、ドイツ人のお父ちゃんはこの手のチーズしか食べず、もったいなさすぎです。。食費は抑えられていいのですが ;)
