2. @ jaybird - "Look at this beast! Action packed, coated in frosting and loaded with top notch bacon, avo and cheese some of my favourite ingredients! This is such a great (and surprising) piece paying homage to both SSC's 1 year BD and also to the "Legend" herself @steemit-foodie. The flavour combos going on here are truly palatable from the apple, cauliflower and goats cheese combo to the chopped fruits, veggies and chicken salad. I mean what flavours aren't present in this sandwich...? White Wine Dijon mustard lol.. give me a break ahaha. Love the "Celebration Spirit!!" ingredient as well."

3. @artwatch - "This one looks amazing not quite a third place ha ha.."

4. @loveself - "@birdsinparadise's sandwich is incredibly creative. Picking a hearty seeded bread was perfect to mimic the cake slices and the sour cream mixed with mayo as frosting is pure genius! Mixing in some nuts and fruit into the chicken salad adds texture and a touch of sweetness."

1. "I can't believe he baked his bread in a shape of #1! Then he filled this epic sandwich with three different types of meat. The fresh chimichurri adds a herbaceous flavor and you can't ever go wrong with a some heat from the addition of Sriracha sauce. The candle was an extra nice touch."

2. @jaybird "Thanks so much for the homage, your support and humour. I love the 1 shaped bread!
   I also like the chimi-sauce so much and the various meats, omelette and onion rings topping lol. Definitely a bit of a "Sloppy Sally" but action freakin' packed! You've been a long time favourite in this competition always baking your own bread and making great sandwiches! I've switched to Sriracha myself mainly bc of you ;)"

1. "With beety sandwiches, I get all excited. I like self-loves color arrangement and artistic flair with the camera. The buttermilk onion rings/bacon look so delicious and plump. She has done a picture perfect presentation from start to finish and has a good shot at a prize in my books. The sandwich itself makes for interesting textures. I imaging biting into it one would find a cornucopia of experiences for the palate. I like the avocodo-mayo and the spicy beet sauce sitting side by side to create such contrast in colors. This sandwich gets 10 out of 10 for well rounded."

@avizor - "Ah yea, a true beauty of a sandwich. Love how you baked it in the oven at the end toO! From the melted cheese, to the mushrooms and tomato, to the garnishes (love those little pickles) this was a gem of a sandwich!

@jeffjagoe - "I liked @jeffjagoe's Bacon, Egg and Cheese Crumpet. The holes in the crumpet trap in the maple syrup. The combination of sweet and salty from the maple syrup and bacon is a winner. " - @loveself

@carolynstahl - "I thought @carolynstahl made another awesome entry. I am not a fan of eggplant but after reading her entry I was ready to convert. The different colors and textures from the diced vegetables made the relish really pop. The cauliflower looked perfectly golden brown. The olive puree and sunflower sprouts are the perfect finishing touches to these stunning arepas." - @loveself

Love the raisin bread but that's not the only "raisin" i like this sandwich. The Avocado Honey based Guacamole with mustard, raisins & spices was an awesome add. SELECTING WINNERS!

1. @jaybird: I select the winners based on a variety of parameters. Just do your thing and have fun with it. I'm considering many factors such as presentation, ingredients & originality, creativity, community opinion & artistic ability just to name a few. PLEASE make sure to follow the rules! They are easy to follow and help prevent the tragedy of Null entries!

2. There are now only 3 prizes. First Prize = roughly 50% of the prize pool

3. Second Prize dubbed the "Veto Vote" = roughly 30% of the prize pool + the honour of selecting the following weeks second prize winner. This prize is ideally given to an entry that although it did not win the contest, showed distinction among all the other entries. This could be a feature such as it was the community favourite, it used the most bizarre ingredients, or, it was just the best looking sandwich etc. IMPORTANT! The "Veto Vote" holder may not vote on his or her own sandwich to be selected as the second prize. However, they are still eligible to win First Prize should they enter the contest that week.

4. Third Prize will be roughly 20% of the prize pool

5. For SSC Week 52, bc of both the generous Donation from @artwatch and also because it's SSC 1 year Anni, we will have some SSC Outstanding Achievement Prizes.
