My Love-Hate Relationship With a Vampire!

So I like using this card now that they have lowered the cost form 6 mana to 5... But at the same time it kind of drives me nuts.

You would think that at level 9 with 6 speed and flying, that it should be able to regularly avoid at least one hit.

Theoretically with these stats and life leach I should be able to throw him at the end of my lineup and not worry about being hit by a sneaky melee attack.

Maybe it is just my bad luck, but it never seems to work out like that. I put him at the end and he dies on the first attack... and boom 5 mana gone.

Then on the other hand, if I put him in the middle somewhere (which can be worth it due to the 4 ranged attack), and manage to win the game, he ends up with like 12 health and has never been hit once.

Does anyone else feel my pain on this one?

Overall though I think this card has been a good addition to the game and I enjoy figuring out new card combinations.
