My Thoughts On Selenia Sky:
While she may not be the most overpowering summoner, having only the bonus ability of increasing +1 to all ranged attacks, Selenia Sky remains a rather useful summoner to have. Can you play without her? Absolutely. Would you want to? Probably not.
Recall that Selenia Sky remains the only currently existing dragon summoner capable of introducing dragons into the mix of your splinter-focused teams. While the dragons themselves have proven to only be somewhat useful in most circumstances given their high mana costs, the ability to use them are often essential in some particular situations.
Most notably in higher mana cap situations, using Selenia Sky becomes almost near inevitable due to the need to incorporate more powerful monsters which may have formerly been suppressed in their practicality due to the mana constraint.
As the only summoner capable of increasing ranged attacks, Selenia Sky can also sometimes find benefit in Snipe teams, which are entirely ranged attack exclusive (at the moment). The boost to these ranged attacks can often by the difference in overcoming a middle enemy monster in one turn versus two.
Yet overall, as the most valuable card due to its ability to introduce a whole new versatile class of cards, Selenia Sky remains a rather essential card to desire, even if it is entirely possible to play without.
