Steem Monsters Booster Packs Purchase and Other Updates - 09/Aug

Hello Friends,

For the second day on the trot, I could afford to buy few Steem Monsters beta booster packs and I wasn't disappointed as I could win a Summoner from each of the packs I purchased.

The declining Steem price isn't helping and I am not having much Steem left, so I have to go for purchasing the packs with SBD and good thing is, SBD price isn't much getting fluctuated unlike Steem.

Like I mentioned in one of the previous posts, I am able to explore other earning opportunities on the same post with tokens other than Steem by adding different tags like Neoxian, SteemAce, SPT, SCT, SteemLeo etc and I could see I am earning some good amount of tokens on my posts and I suggest others to check the same and make use of earning some extra coins.

So, the cards as I mentioned were not bad as you can see below:

So, 4 Rare cards with 2 Summoners among them.

It's been very rare to see a Legendary or Epic cards among the booster packs cards we are getting.

Daily Quest:

I had the privilege of battling out today with Water splinters and water is my favorite splinter among all the splinters.

Cards I received for completing quest didn't have any special cards and not even Rare cards, that's bit disappointing but that happens.

Other Updates:

Rain in India:

The rain situation in India is getting worsened with more than 40 people having lost life in Karnataka and Kerala states alone.

Especially the districts of Belgaum, Bijapur and other north Karnataka districts are worst hit and now the water level is getting increased in rivers of south Karnataka as well with Netravati river flowing across Udupi and Mangalore district is overflowing.

Kerala is facing another flood like situation like last year and hopefully, the Kerala Government is well prepared to face the flood this time.

We can remember that, last year, more than 350 people lost lives in Kerala due to heavy rain and opening of flood gates of more than 40 dams across Kerala.

Cricket - India vs West Indies:

First ODI between India and West Indies washed out due to rain and the second match is gonna happen tomorrow at Port of Spain and fans from both teams would be eager to see some action between bat and ball rather than rain ruling.

Remember Universal Boss, Chris Gayle is playing his last series in West Indies for West Indies.
