Reflections on tournaments, how to attract more participantssteemCreated with Sketch.

For a long time I did not write informative articles. But today I am overwhelmed with the desire to speak. So, I took a pause between tournaments and decided to express my opinion on improving tournaments and attracting more participants to them.

Thank you @simplymike, whose article is https://steemit.com/steemmonsters/@simplymike/a-shoutout-to-all-high-level-deck-steemmonsters-players made me upset about winning the tournament - https://challonge .com/ru /lwlrmt2u, instead of rejoicing.

Despite the fact that I often finish among the winners, I remember those moments when after several victories you lose to the future winner of the tournament. I admit honestly that if it were not for my first prize in the tournament organized by @ khan.dayyanz I would stop participating in tournaments.

What is the way out? I propose to share the planned award for the tournament among all who would have won at least one victory. Yes, such changes may not appeal to those who often win, but these simple changes can double or triple the number of participants. Rewards do not necessarily have to be large, especially at the level of beginners, bronze and silver. I am sure that many will be happy even with a $ 0.04 card.

These changes will make it possible to feel the taste of victory for a large number of @steemmonsters players, which will significantly increase the influx of new participants. And those who won at least once, will no longer be able to pass by tournaments, even if the rewards decrease several times. After all, the excitement and pleasure of winning is difficult to measure with money.

I like the idea. There's nothing more frustrating than to get kicked out of a tourney because you made 1 wrong decision after playing for more than 1 hour, and having to leave with nothing.

By the way, I'm sorry. I didn't want to make you feel bad about winnig the tourney. To be honest, I never checked who won, because I was 100% sure it wouldn't be a beginner.

I've battled you quite a couple of times, and when I see your name come up, I'm always a bit nervous, because meanwhile I learned you know your way around the cards, lol

Thank you for the visit, maybe with time we will see consolation rewards in tournaments.

Good ideas!

  • Giving away consolation prizes would indeed increase the number of tournament players.

Thanks for the mention.
That's a good idea, I have tried to make such tournaments. and also elimination should not be done as such but people should get to play at least 3-4 games with different players, then elimination should be done.
Good Suggestion By the way.

Thank you for your attention and comments.

There are, whales, orc, and dolphins, who play it, they should give upvotes to those who participate in tournaments, and they win several times, it would be the best way for new and not so new users to feel even more attracted to the game and that they would comment with their friends, and acquaintances who to get votes, who motivate a lot, play steem monster, my three cents

Great idea
