Steem Monsters - Fleeing from a battle doesn't count for daily quest

in #steemmonsters5 years ago

The new season started and new rules were brought to the game to make it more challenging. Playing for the first day is not easy as while you might be looking to complete your daily quests, other are looking to level up and move to an upper league. This two objectives are contradicting themselves as one needs to stick to his Splinter team, while other will always look for his best team. So this I think needs to be considered in the future and solve it somehow in order to make it worthwhile.

With the new battle system your enemies can fled the battlefield. While you get the points for the victory, unfortunately it doesn't count for your Daily Quest. First I thought that this is not fair, but on the other side this is a measure to avoid abuse and fake games which don't bring any value to the game.

So, just have this in mind while moving forward and all will be good. The new game play has more sense even if the game is a little bit more complex, but that is normal considering that it needs to evolve. Hope more interesting things will come in the future and will grow along with the game and the community that surrounds it. Another proof of the Steem blockchain capabilities and the fact that its success is due to its communities as the one built up around the Steem Monsters.

I'm getting used to it. Depending who I was battling against, I would choose different cards, but always in the Splinter for my quest, unless that splinter was removed by the rule. It's a bit trickier and more difficult to win when not changing splinters constantly, if staying int he same one for the daily quest, which is probably why they reduced the total of wins to 5. It makes sense. I'm quite enjoying it.
