Trying out Steem Monster, a game run on Steem blockchain, 尝试新游戏

Hello Steemit friends, so it seem like @steemmonsters and @yabapmatt are launching a games called "Steem Monster" that accept Steem and run on the Steem blockchain, I was very curious how does it work as Steem does not offer smart contract so I go ahead and try it out

So the first thing is you can login using your Steemit account with your posting private key, this is very cool because I really hate registering million of new account with a different password that hard to remember

Due to all other blockchain games that are extremely expensive I am very cautious with this one because I do not like to lose tons of money just to play games

So it seem like they are asking you to buy a $5 welcome pack with 15 card, or you can buy directly from the market

So by browsing the marketplace, i can choose card rarity such as

1. common
2. rare
3. epic
4. legendary

and the cheapest for legendary level 1 is $10, but the cheapest for epic level 1 is just $0.75

So i go ahead and spend $0.75 to buy the epic level card

So to pay using Steem, I can click pay using SteemConnect, I can totally trust SteemConnect as I am using them to delegate Steempower for years and it work great, so everything went smoothly and I get my card for $0.75, then immediately I can sell this card for whatever price i like

As they said this is alpha version so you cannot use the card to fight with other players yet, you can only buy and sell card for now

And why this games is way cheaper than other Ethereum based blockchain game? Because it use Steem blockchain, lets us compare the difference, we know that Ethereum cost $0.2 or more for each transaction or action in the games and it took like 5 minutes to 24 hour for the transaction to go through which suck, Steem have 0 transaction fee and transaction time is just 3 seconds, so playing a games on Steem blockchain is way cheaper and faster than Ethereum based smart contract blockchain games

而且通常区块链游戏都是超级贵，比如区块链猫等贵到哭，我就很小心看看这里如何收费

登陆后他们会卖你１５张卡＄5美金，不过你也可以到marketplace上自由的买卖卡，比如有４种稀有度
common
rare
epic
legendary

最稀有的legendary最便宜要＄10，于是我就买了epic卡，只要$0.75, 付款的时候用SteemConnect来付，我非常相信SteemConnect，用了一年多来delegate Steem Power，所以很顺利的买了卡，也可以随时放回去市场上卖

由于是Alpha version，现在还不能和其他玩家打斗，可是比起Ethereum的区块链游戏，这个真的便宜很多，Steem的０交易费和３秒交易时间实在赢Ethereum一万倍

希望他们尽快完成游戏，我也可以偷师看看如何制作同样的游戏
