The Haunted Spider is a great monster. With a Mana cost of only two points you can easily add him to your Dark Eternals team to give it a little extra punch. While it's not a very powerful monster, the ranged attack means he'll be dealing damage from the back ranks and if you get him up to level 4, then he also has a chance of poisoning his target as well.
