Steemmonsters Experiment Quick Update

Just a quick update to let you know I discovered a new way to earn Steem and fund the purchase of new cards for my @steemmonsters deck.

No Update Today

Once again, life got in the way and I haven't had time to write a real update about the evolution of my @steemmonsters account and the state of my deck.

It will be the first thing on my list tomorrow, because there is quite a lot to tell.

Luck has been on my side and I have been able to level up a couple more cards, including Lyanna Natura, the summoner of the Earth splinter.

Earning Steem

Because this entire experiment has been set up to find out how you can grow a @steemmonsters starter deck without investing fiat, I am always looking for new ways to earn some free Steem.

Although I have been extremely lucky with the reward cards I received, the lack of Steem to purchase cards is the thing that holds me back the most.

I am joining contests and giveaways and comment on posts that pay out a @steem-bounty, but I can't really say this brings in a truckload of Steem. Not enough to build my deck as fast as I would like, anyway.

I know a couple of people who are in the same situation are following my posts, so I didn't want to wait to share that I've found new ways to earn free Steem.

DClick

Let me start with the obvious one: DClick.

As you can see, I'm using DClick to write this post. I didn't think of it myself, but someone left a comment on one of my posts that this might be a way to earn a little extra.

If you're not familiar with DClick, it is an application on the Steem blockchain that offers an editor to write your posts just like you would do on Steemit. The big difference is that an advertisement is added at the bottom of the post. Every time someone clicks the ad, you earn a little.

I haven't used the service more than just a couple of times before, so I'll have to wait to find out if it is really a good way to earn free Steem.

SteemSlotGames

I didn't hear of SteemSlotGames, which is a slots games platform built on the Steem blockchain, before yesterday, but it appears to be a great source to earn free Steem.

You could say I really hit the jackpot with this one.

With just a little effort, I was able to withdraw no less than 14.5 Steem a couple of hours ago.

I don't have time to go into the matter of how the site works at the moment, but what is important is that they have a really great referral program set up.

All I had to do to earn those 14.5 Steem was get 3 people to sign up and play. Easiest Steem I ever earned.

With this extra money, I can finally do some shopping on the @steemmonsters market.
