Steem Monsters: And why not create local tournaments and a world cup ?

in #steemmonsters5 years ago (edited)

This is a translation of my last article, written in French, which serves as a request to the community of Steem Monsters. You can read the original text here : https://steemit.com/fr/@ixindamix/steem-monsters-et-pourquoi-ne-pas-creer-des-tournois-locaux-ainsi-qu-une-coupe-des-nations

The @steemmonsters team has been making it possible to create tournaments with the community for some time now. I don't know about you, but I find it particularly curious that encounters between groups of the same nationality or language are not yet taking place. Undoubtedly this is too sectarian and that it excludes a large part of the players involved in this game, nevertheless I think that the idea of organizing "local" type tournaments remains fundamentally a good idea. On the one hand, in order to spend a fun time between members of the #fr and #qc section but also in order to evaluate their level with a particular group. Today, I am therefore turning to the @steemmonsters community around the world, in order to evaluate the possible opportunity to organize such events.

In addition, why not submit to the official team, a kind of world cup or the best players from each section, representing a country or a language, to defend the honour of their countries This would be a unique opportunity to organize a great moment of competition within the blockchain itself, with the firm intention of promoting the use of Steem. Of course, I'm only putting forward a simple, rather whimsical idea that can turn out to be totally disproportionate for some people. However, I am firmly convinced that this one is not insurmountable. Everything remains possible if we believe in it and make enough effort to achieve this goal. Obviously all this must be collective and will probably require a minimum of investment...

With regard to the creation and organization of community tournaments, why not start with a minimal participation (around 0.100 Steem), with a redistribution of the amount generated to the first 10 winners, depending on the number of participants, of course... Offering a low-cost entrance ticket will undoubtedly attract people with few resources, without limiting their chances of winning.

What do you think of that ? Would this kind of project be possible ? And would you be in the game ?
