@Ma1neEvent with you for another blog post, this time telling you about my recent attempts to try out three different ways to use the Steem Blockhain - @Vimm, @SteemMonsters, and @Steem-plus!
Everything in this post is just my opinion!
Finally Getting In to @SteemMonsters...
So I made my Steem Monsters Account way back in the spring when the website first went up. I have always loved playing collectible card games, so I knew I would most likely enjoy a card game on the Steem blockchain. I had been waiting until this past weekend, but finally gave in and bought some cards. I purchased the intro pack, read through the rules, and started playing some games.
It took a few tries, but I finally started to figure out how to play. I must say, the game is really fun! I am enjoying playing the games, collecting the cards, figuring out strategies, and earning some booster packs just from playing the game too!
I have even made it all the way up to the Gold Tier in this Season
after only a few days, earning me 7 packs so far!

Then, I began to Live Stream
myself learning to play @SteemMonsters
on @Vimm (Vimm.tv)!
Since the departure of Dlive from Steem, I haven't had the chance to check out @Vimm's streaming services that can connect to the blockchain. The video from the streams aren't saved as of now, but the live streams are up and running. I got everything all setup, and it was super easy! The re-posting for a new stream is even easier, only requiring you to change your titles / text and then hit broadcast. The chat box is cool too because it doesn't auto post everything to the blockchain. I am enjoying utilizing @Vimm to share my experiences learning to play @SteemMonsters, and I also hope to do other types of gaming and talk show live stream possibly in the future. Then finally, I need some more cards...
I realized I would need an application
like @Steem-Plus...
In order to buy multiple cards at a time from the Steem Monsters internal market, you needed to install the @Steem-Plus application in your web browser. I had always heard good things about Steem Plus, but I hadn't actually tried it out yet. I was impressed how easy it was to setup, and it really helped a lot with getting cards. It also adds a ton of features to your experience on Steemit.com, such as adding many new stats, links, posting options, etc.
I really enjoy using it so far... great job @Steem-Plus!
