#2 For A Moment

I've been on the test site this week trying to get a feel for the game. There was a lot of action this afternoon so it was easy to find a battle. I even had a bit of a lucky streak and made it close to the top of the leaderboard to number two... for a fleeting moment. I made sure to take a screen grab of that illustrious moment. See below.

Some Things I Learned In Testing

Mana Cap

The mana cap is an important factor in game play. We have had them anywhere from 15 to 25. You have to be creative to mix and match your mana numbers to get the strongest team. Each card has a mana number and all the cards on your team must add up to less than or equal to the mana limit. Everytime the mana cap changes there is a big reshuffling on the leaderboard with players trying out new teams that fit into the new mana limit.

Multiple Teams

It is good to have multiple teams ready for each mana limit. The balancing of the game is such that a certain white team might beat a certain green team which might beat a certain red team which will usually beat the white team. So if you stay with the same team for too long someone will find a way to beat you because the game is very well balanced and there is no magic bullet. Changing it up is important.
