Have you heard of #steemmonsters? It is a new game on the Steemit blockchain and it is all the rage. Now they are on sale at Steem Monsters and can be traded by players. The cards can be collected, duplicates can be combined to make stronger cards, and the cards can also be gifted!!

This week I have seen many different Steem Monster giveaways which is awesome because I can’t afford to buy as many packs as I would like to buy!!! I was gifted some cool card packs from @carrieallen who has a new addiction of opening card packs and giving away card packs to her followers. If you would like to watch her give away some cards, first follow her on Steemit, and then wait until the mood strikes her to see her present a live giving away like this one: Dlive Steem Monster Giveaway.
You could also search the #steemmonsters tag on Steemit to find others giving away cards. Today I found @bitson’s post: Probably The Biggest @steemmonsters Giveaway! All my collection! He has decided he will not be playing the Steem Monsters game when it is available for play and wants to give away his collection. To enter his giveaway, simply follow him, upvote and resteem his post, and then write a post like this mentioning his giveaway. You never know- you may win!!!
In other Steem Monster News, the developers of the game are working on creating the backstory for each of the factions and need the Steemit community’s help. They are looking for writers for the back stories. I have entered the group to write for the White Splinter. This is the Healers and Protectors. I do believe I was created for this very purpose.

I've bought some packs and just waiting and seeing what the future holds for these cards. Think this can be something awesome for Steemit and the Steem blockchain, just depends on how it progresses.

I know a guy who purchases these cards just for investment and don't really play it. It is definitely one of the hot stuff in steemit now.
It's been in the making for a long time, so hoping they worked all the bugs out!
