I have been having a blast following the #steemmonsters activity, and the progression of the game. If you have not started your journey into the Splinterlands, you can do so by buying your starter pack of cards at the Steem Monsters Website. There you can begin to collect new cards and prepare for the start of battles later this year!!
I have been trying my best not to spend my Steem Monsters writing reward on booster packs, and so instead I hang out with important people who have the power and resources to give me free ones!!!! If you search the #steemmonsters tag you will find many Steemians giving away free Steem Monsters cards and talking about the game.
Other ways to get free booster packs is to enter the @steemmonsters contests on the official game page.

This week, the Steem Monsters branched out from Steemit and are now on both Facebook, and Telegram

I happen to have two different Facebook accounts, one for family and friends, and another for gaming friends. The profile for the gaming friends reaches more people who may have the desire to play games, so when the Steem Monsters started their new Facebook group, I shared the group on that profile twice.
I wasn't doing it to get a free card, (although the promotion was part of a card giveaway,) I did it because I am excited about this game created by @aggroed, and @yabapmatt, and would like others to know about it. I hope that by promoting the game on Facebook, more people will find Steem Monsters and Steemit, giving the Steemit platform more attention.
I was surprised to find @clove71 the queen of Steem Monsters, decided to send me a new gold foil card and then made a super cool gif that sparkled!!!!!

I have also been having lots of fun playing the Goblin Sorcerer in a innovative new play called, The Steem Monsters Tavern, that is written by @chrisroberts and then performed for The Play House hosted by his beautiful wife, @carrieallen.
@enginewitty is the Lord of Darkness who is a golden legendary with an attitude and big flame whip!
I have to give a BIG shout out and thank you to @carrieallen for providing me with so many gifted Steem Monsters cards! Most of my collection came from her bountiful generosity and fun nature. Give her a follow if you haven't already.

@littlescribe and @coruscate have their own Fan Fiction show on Dlive and invite Steemians to read selected Steem Monster common card stories written by Steemians. This week they are planning on turning up the heat by inviting the sexy voices of Steemit to read the Pirate Captain stories. Arrrrr!

@simgirl, Really congratulations and in my opinion this is really an Boosting aspect, and in my opinion you are really an active participant in the Steemmonsters Economy because i saw that you are also Upvoting the comments of people who are commenting on Steemmonsters posts, i am one of them who received your upvote, so keepup your efforts.

Thank you! It isn't very hard to be active when the @steemmonsters crew is always giving us creative ways to be involved. And if you're not creative, you can just buy the cards and give them away, or collect them to win battles. It's all very exciting!
