How can a card game conquer a cryptocurrencies blockchain?

The sinergy behind a community is what can really develop it to a higher level. Being allowed to participate but at the same time putting in work that can be translated to the best results is something that only a few blockchains have in common. To give a special twist to the Steem platform and accomplish this kind of response is an amazing thing, and shouldn't be undermined by any means. We are not just playing a game, we are also helping to develop and shape it as a true community, being involved from the start and becoming a part of it only has commitment and success written all over it.

I originally just wanted to support this project 'cause the artwork spoke by itself and it seemed like an oportunity for early investment. Where I live we don't have the best economic conditions and although this is a game, I don't see a better way to get involved into cryptocurrencies than joining a project which supports and brings many transactions through their users. Acceptance is key and this game has delivered time after time. We can see Steem Monsters as a fun way to get into crypto and play from the start. while you open packs and try your luck time after time. It brings you back to an entertaining old feeling that somehow makes you a part of a very large community that at this point just keeps growing, while we bond and learn how to become even greater by playing a cool game together.

Some of the newest features include a market for everyone to sell and buy their single cards, and a golden gem such as allowing you to buy the starter pack and even a brand new steem account with different crypto like BTC, ETH or LTC, but that's not all, you can also make these purchases using your credit card!

Why would you want to buy or pay for digital cards?

This is perhaps the most key aspect of this game. The costs of the packs and cards are pegged to the USD $, the starter pack costs 10$ and each booster pack after it has a cost of 2$. For me this isn't cheap at all but, luckily that's not the story for many, even those who like me can't afford to buy 100 packs, (which will give you a bonus of 10 extra packs) have purchased a lot of them. Each pack comes with 5 random cards, which can go from a regular common to a gold foil legendary card. The costs in the market for those can go from 0.04 $ to more than 500$!

How did the Steem Monsters game become a 200K USD success?

SM just hit the mark of 100 thousand packs sold, and the only answer to this question has two words: community acceptance. The audience for this game, especially through the vision of these three awesome leaders; @isaria @yabapmatt and @aggroed, has reached an almost unbelievable success and people looking to buy, trade and sell, but more than that, everybody is loving every update, contests run and an infinite ammount of giveaways which provide for everybody the best experience you could ask for in the Steem program. Many are anxiously waiting for the next phase, in which tournamentes with weekly prizes are going to take place over the next couple of months. If you take a walk through the channels of the SM Discord server you will find out how much support the game already has and how everybody is making sure not only to take profits, but to engage with others, and the best part is the investment we are setting up for the future.
