Don't forget to shop about on #steemmonsters
We've been playing and loving steemmonsters for a few seasons now. We've see "ALPHA" cards, "BETA" cards and the new "REWARD" cards....
So here is my little tip when it comes to purchasing that extra card you've been looking for.
Let's use the example of the EARTH Splinter card - earth elemental:
(ALPHA)
(BETA)
Exactly the same stats just from different series of cards.
This little gem is great to have in any deck because of its LOW mana cost, yet HIGH health. Its great to stick at the end of the deck to soak up and attacks.
SO WHAT'S THE TIP?? I hear you ask.
Well let's take a look at both series and see if we can pick up on anything.
(ALPHA lvl 1)
(BETA lvl 1)
Not much difference in either of these. Will cost you about $0.12 to buy either.
(ALPHA lvl 3)
(BETA lvl 3)
Spot the difference yet??? Take a look at the price difference.... Plus take a look at the amount of cards available.....
Using the ALPHA version, how can something of the same spec be over $1 cheaper?? Plus there are also less of the ALPHA cards so are "rarer".
If you are looking to level up your decks? My advice is to always check both A & B series to see if you can get a better deal.
I know I did
And in the nicest possible way, I hope not too many of you read my posts because I may have shot myself in the foot for finding cheaper cards

Nice collection cards. i will be starting next season
I am selling all my Alphas - Limited cards scare me - while Beta supply is still growing and I think I can get what I need to level up.
I'll let you in on a little magic trick
I look at it in terms of basic card units.

After converting to beta you lose the ability to level them up with less cards, look at the cards needed for each level.
