So the first season of #steemmonsters has come to an end and I got me some free pack just for playing along. I finished off just creeping in to bronze league one and got 3 free booster packs.
Let's see what I got:
Pack 1 containing 4 X RARE cards was a good suprise. All useful cards, but nothing to write home about.
During the season, you also have opportunities to complete quests to earn extra packs and I managed to complete two and got 2 extra packs.
An epic summoner.... That will come in useful for rounds with a low mana cap.
Let's get back to battling, I'm almost in to the silver leagues, hovering just under 1000 points.

I just made a few test fights using my phone.
Gotta read some strategy guides to be sure I'm not being stupid 😅

Took me a few days to understand all the combo's available to me (the cards I had) and where each card is best placed. I love how every few hours the game rules change, so you always have to tweak it
I won one ranked match and lost one, so gotta read some more XD

It's designed to be like that. No team will ever continually win, but you lose less point than when you win, so keep battling and you'll climb slowly
