Turning dporn into monster-porn??!!?? More BETA packs
This bloody FOMO has got me bad.... So bad in fact that I flipped more tokens for monsters.
I had a nice little airdrop of 500 #dporn tokens, I did a little blog and got an extra 15 tokens, so 515 in total.
Ive been watching the price of these tokens swing wildly the last few days and once I saw them start to climb again I put out a sell order and got rid of the lot.
I managed to sell my 515 porn tokens for a little over 100steem and after converting them to steem pegged and width drawing then to my wallet I got 99 steem deposited.
I already knew exactly what I was going to use that steem for and with in a few clicks "poof" the steem had gone!!
I had already told myself to just simply by the summoners you need to level up and climb higher, but the FOMO had me good and I now live for the thrill of turning over @steemmonsters cards. So it was 11 BETA packs for me and I prayed I finally managed to pull something good:

And I striked out with my last pack. That's another $20 worth of cards bought and I don't think I even broke even.
The way I look at it is this; I keep pulling all the shit packs so that everyone else can find the good stuff.
Think of me as a public service to all you fine #splinterlands players.
Now it's time to HODL these cards till they can make me some money. That's another 55 cards that will never make it to your deck unless you pay me a lot of steem.

If you really wanna get into the game, I would suggest you stop buying beta packs and start buying bulk cards at cheap rate from the market. 😉

I tell myself the same thing everytime.... I need summoners and I always plan to buy the specific cards I need then I give in and buy booster packs hoping to hit something big (but never do).
I'm hoping that when you can buy cards for DEC, I'll go about buying the cards I need than way.

Too bad you didn't get anything great from the packs. I've long since abandoned any notion of investing in packs. It's just not economical. I figure it makes more sense to just buy whatever card you need. Then again, if you strike it rich you can prove me wrong. ;)
You did decent... All that gold, and summoners will help in the in long run. Up that DEC pull each match.
I am buying packs too - the only positive ROI i get on STEEM is SM!
