Traffic and Parking:
Today I left earlier for various bass player reasons that I'll talk about later. Traffic is worse in some parts and better in other parts.
I hate to admit it, but it's easier to flow with traffic if I leave a half hour later... sometimes.

Bass Amp:
I'm bring my own bass amp for today's rehearsal. Here it is getting wheeled in:

My bass amp has been sitting in the car since a performance yesterday. I performed at a St. Patrick's Day event with @steelparade:

Big Band Broadcasts:
I use Periscope because it's mobile capability makes my life easy. If you use Periscope, show them you like Steem. Periscope broadcasts are shared to Twitter and if you use Steem hashtags, you will attract the Steem community. Is Dlive mobile? Somebody help get them up to par, get paid though.

Big Band costs:
A few rehearsals ago I neglected to display my parking receipt properly. I haven't paid for that ticket yet. I thought about paying with cash and visiting my favorite pinball spot at the same time, but things like this don't deserve my cold hard cash. I'll probably just go to my credit union and ask for a teller check because those are free.
This big band rehearsal couldn't of happened without the $2.15 I spent on a small coffee and one doughnut. If I add that the average cost of $6 per rehearsal, I get $8.15.
So, if I add $66.15 to the new $8.15, the total becomes $74.30.

What is Big Band?
A Big band rhythm section includes percussion sometimes. Yes, even congas play swing. We don't have congas. We have bongos in this big band. They are not the same. My bongo technique is not professional and I've only had light training on congas. I've played lots of Djembe.
I look like a guy trying to play bongos like a djembe while being bit by spiders. 🕷😜

May 7th will be or last public performance of the semester.
It will also be my last unpaid performance of the semester.
I have a bass guitar. An Ibanez SR370E like the one shown below:
Can't play it for shit though.. haha, but it looks real pretty 😁
Ibanez makes good stuff. I usually enjoy playing one of those. Good purchase.

It's not that's it's hard to play. I actually picked it for its smaller size. I just don't dedicate enough time to practice. Too much watching YouTube or being on Steem. Haha

Yes! They are small and more importantly, light, imho. Heavy basses and my back don’t get along. Imagine holding it for an hour while you stand and dance too... oh maybe you already did.
Wrong account, yes. I wasn’t too worried though. My mom says I’m a cool Steemy.
