Community Thursday with @steemph

in #steemph6 years ago

Greetings to all the lovely communities!

It is an honor to welcome you to Steemph’s Community Thursday.

How are you guys doing? A typhoon named Ompong entered the Philippines and I'm hoping that no one will get hurt. To my fellow Filipinos, especially to those who will be directly hit, please stay safe and be alert all the time. Although our country is having a hard time because of high inflation, and now Ompong just landed, keep on praying for everyone's safety.

God bless you Philippines and all the communities across the globe.

Here are the simple guidelines for curation:

  1. Minimum 300 words or 3 stanzas.
  2. Minimum 2 pictures. Must be credited if not original.
  3. Must be at least 90% original content with sources clearly credited. 100% Original content preferred.
  4. With the exceptions of Tuesday Community Competitions & Thursday Community Outreach Day. All posts must be tagged #SteemPh to be eligible for curation.
  5. Posts must not be more than 4 days old.

We will be curating SteemPh wide across all the hubs and using @SteemPh.Trail to upvote suitable posts. If a post already received an upvote from the trail, it cannot receive another.

But wait, there’s good news!

Since my column is about the Community Outreach, everybody has the chance to be featured. What does it mean? I have the privilege to choose from other countries aside from my very own motherland (which is the Philippines).

Another thing is that there’s no required limit on your post payout, so those who already have a high post payout can still have the chance. But of course, we must give way for community posts that are not earning much.

All topics about helping the community and the people are wholeheartedly welcome.

There are no colors, races, and nationalities; we are all God's children. Let’s support one another and never leave each other behind!

Come on, Let's start!

Our @walkofhope Proposal to Fundition

Author: @immarojas

First of all, this proposal was sent to Fundition.io 5 days ago and still awaiting their feedback. As our target dates are on September 15-16...my time to raise funds is a bit limited but due to donations received plus @walkofhope funds, what we have now can be used for the project as our artists will be leaving for Kabankalan City a couple of days before the 15th.

The project of WOH is to create a livelihood for their 30 scholars by teaching them how to make local crafts from the bamboo. Try to read the original post of @walkofhope's Fundition proposal and you will be amazed by the finished products. Bamboo bike? They have it!

Communities of Steem - #Hayrunners Needs Your Help - Sponsoring a Truck Of Donated Hay To Drought-Stricken Aussie Farmers

Author: @bmj

There is no greater sense of community than when a group of complete strangers get together to help someone in need. I have seen it happen out in the real world, and I've seen it happen right here on the Steem blockchain. It really is something special, and when the Steem community gets together to support a cause out there in the big wide world, magical things can, and will happen.

If you still have no idea about the drought in some parts of Australia, search on google because it's really bad. The video clip from Burrumbuttock Hay Runners Youtube Channel is a heartwarming scenery. Every relief brings happiness not only for the people but also to the starving animals.

School day, delivery of food and medicines for low-income children in Venezuela

Author: @littledisciples

Today we put the shoes of the service early, and we went to a very disadvantaged community called Cambalache, this place a few years ago was a garbage dump, so when we arrived at this place, the garbage ran through the streets freely, there was a lot of rubbish, and the children ate and the parents lived in the garbage, what they got in the waste they used for their livelihood.

Lack of education and malnutrition are one of the biggest problems in the world. @littledisciples are working hard to reach the most vulnerable families in their community despite the extreme poverty around them. We can't change the past but we can still do something to create a better future.

Humanity still exists. Let’s grab each other’s hands; wonderful things can be achieved.
