The Shame

I read a book once that wrote about how the shame, when it came to Hitler was not that he killed so many Jews.

The shame was that so many Jews had to die senselessly before somebody did something about it.

And thus we live in shame today. Not many realize it though.

The shame is not that your toxic colleagues or shitty boss treats you badly.

The shame is that they had to treat you badly first before you quit.

The shame is not that your relationship or long-time friend has turned toxic.

The shame is that you put up with it for so long before walking away.

The shame is not that you suddenly fell sick out of nowhere.

The shame is that you didn't bother taking care of your health.

The shame is not that somebody cheated in a relationship.

The shame is that it had to come to that while everybody ignored the warning signs.

The shame is not that insecure people resort to social media drama by attacking others just to validate themselves.

The shame is that our culture is in love with it.

And so on.
