teammalaysia Sabah worldcup meetup featuring @nickychu

This weekend our Labuan steemian which is @nickychu come to Kota Kinabalu for business trip and some short holiday time. Due to my busy schedule for training, I unabke to meet him on Friday.

The next day which is Saturday, we plan for a small meetup with @nickychu. But due to last minute planning, a lot steemians still cannot make it for meetup. So this time meetup we have @gelfire, @viverridae, our steem ambassador @danieldoughty and another steem ambassador @veenang, me, @nickychu, Amanda and also Liza.

This meetup is truly a gathering that not always happen because the place that @nickychu stay is very far from Kota Kinabalu and need Ferry to access. So this gathering we chit chat a lot and also talk about a lot about steemit growth and future steemit plan.

First thing first me and @nickychu actually a lot of mutual friend because he is also event organiser. So we have a lot mutual interest and have a lot of talk about it.

At first session, we discuss a lot about byteball and neoxian and know a lot it from our ambassador @danieldoughty. We also agree that if not because steemit, we will not touch about crypto and will not know more abouf this knowledge.

After that we also having a rare guest which is @deborahneils, a kindergarten teacher and also Guasa sifu. We have a lot of laughter when she join in as she is having a great sense of humour and also keep smiling. We even tell her she can accept steem for her guasa business as now we have steemians that accept steem for burger, clinic servise and also tatto servise. She also interested about it and will implement it soon.

Due to the meetup also same time with worldcup third placing games, we plan to change plan to a pub call The Box and continue watching football games.

We were very surprise that the game can have goal scoring with just first 4 minutes of the games.

Due to the pub is pack with guest, we have our table 10 minutes after we arrived. Then we have photo session as usual to post in steemit. Lol. Well, now our photo can earn steem, why not right. Also it is another memory for us to remain in our phone.

Then we continue discuss more about steemit and also about bidbots, especially minnowbooster. I also talk about nowadays we need to get whitelisted so that we can get hihger upvote. It is nowadays not easy to get good upvotes since a lot people using this service.

After that our ambassador leave early since @danieldoughty and @viverridae need to pick up their son @matthewdoughty and go back rest.

Then soon after they leaving, Belgium made another goal and let England get 4th place and Belgium confirm to get 3rd place. Everyone was very disappointed about England loss in this match.

After that another ambassador which is @veenang and @gelfire leaving because they have something to do early next day.

So at last left me, @nickychu, Amanda and also Liza. We talk more about event thing especially sound and light. After talk more I just realised he is sifu in sound and also I know he is one of the dealer for one of the prestige sound system. It is happy to talk with him about event sound and really happy finally can have a beer session with him too. I believe sooner after this will have more session like this.

This is the reason why I try my best to spare my time for my community and meet them to know them more and also engaging with them. Really hope i will not missed out any of these meetup as building friendship with all of them is real and worth it.
