The first way to teach children to read after 8 months is by the Glenn Doman method. Glenn Doman is the founder of the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential (IAHP), which focuses on the development of children's brain development. And one of their services is to create an easy method to learn to read, for children.

The method of learning to read Glenn Doman is actually very simple, that is, with the introduction of words that children easily understand.

Next, I briefly explain how to teach children to read using the Glenn Doman method.

- The first step

In this initial stage, try to gather some simple words and group them into 3 groups of categories. You can write these words on a cardboard and then have the shape of a card.

Because it consists of 3 sets of categories, you can write several different names on the cards for each category. For example:

-In category A, in the form of names of family members such as father, mother, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, etc.

-For category B, you can write cards with names of animals that are familiar to children, such as cats, dogs, chickens, birds, rabbits and others.

-Also for category C. Names of fruits such as bananas, apples, watermelons, guavas, pears that you can use.

Once all the cards are finished, group all the cards in their respective categories. Then you can take a set of categories, for example, in category A. Ask the child to take the first card, then read it slowly and invite him to imitate it.

In this step, it is not necessary to explain the meaning of the word that is being read, because here we only focus on how to read it. It does not need to be long, just do it for 2-3 seconds, then take the next card and do the same as in the first reading.

When you are teaching your child to learn to read the card, try to observe his expression, which words he likes and which he does not.

Also, you do not need to ask the child to repeat the words. If you have read all the words in a set of categories, stop the learning process for a moment. You can give it a compliment so that you are more excited and want to continue during the next session.

- Third step

1.For the first day, simply teach reading cards in category A. You can do it 3 times at different times.

2.Next on the second day, repeat the reading for category A 3 times more cards in category B.

3.On the third day, you can repeat it by giving lessons in categories A and B and adding categories C. Do it all three times. The next day you can repeat the three categories. This is done for intelligent children to read.

4.For the fourth day and so on, you can repeat each word 14 to 24 times. If you feel that the child has begun to understand you, you can take a card in each category and be replaced by new words.

In addition, you can randomize the wording when the child has finished reading a category. This is so that children can not guess words in sequence.
