5 Scary Reasons Why CPS Is Not Your Friend!

in #steempress6 years ago (edited)

It's been a while since I wrote my first post about #FamilyProtection and How they are helping families to fight against the abuse by Child Protection Services all over the globe. Today I decided to raise some more awareness about this subject and asking everyone to contribute further in their cause. By spreading awareness, raise funds and help victims of CPS to protect them.

Say "NO" To Child Protection Services

Today I want to layout reasons as to why you should not consider CPS or any of their agents as your friends. They do not want to protect you or your children. They would rather do anything in their own power to hurt you and your family by putting you in legal trouble. Please keep the below points in mind while dealing with them:

How #FamilyProtection Can Help?

#FamilyProtection is a wonderful initiative by @markwhittam and @canadian-coconut. Helping out families and protect them against CPS. You can share your experiences, stories and blogs about how CPS is running a money making system and diving taking away Children from their families for profit. Whatever you earn from these posts, share some of it back to @familyprotection's account which empowers victims. The following reasons why I think we need this initiative:

  • Awareness: To educate people about the crimes done by government approved CPAs.
  • Raise Funds: To help families save their Children from these agencies. Cover their legal fees!
  • Reward Contributions: Providing financial support to victims and reward contributors for their blogs/content.
  • Share Stories: Experiences, tips and tricks on how to deal with CPA.

I hope through this blog post, it is clear that you need to be very careful with CPS and their agents. THEY ARE NOT ANYONE's FRIENDS!

Governments around the world,
are using "Child Protection Agencies"
to take children away from loving families
and place them in foster care or group homes
or place them for adoption.
THESE FAMILIES NEED PROTECTING.

It sounds like CPS is problematic in many countries. The original intent was good, but governments have a way of making a mess of things.

Most african countrys welfare services are not upto that #cps.
So we dont face abuses from any so called agencies.
Inasmuch as i would not tolerate child abuse from any parent.
Abusing the parents also is a no go area.
Most times children tends to be sauces and needs scoldings for correction. So dont fuck me for teaching my child morals.

Yes. These services are mostly available in first world countries! But there are different kind of abuses going on in Africa and Asia! You are right, you shouldn't go in trouble for teaching your kid some sense.

This one is such an important post and particularly close to my heart. As a child who grew up in the care system and have seen first hand how poorly it is managed. It's by no uncertain terms a business and there's no other way to say it but children who are the most at risk are the products.

Yes there are many good intentions and pure hearted people who work hard tirelessly in the effort to help children and families, however the way the system is rigged today it is a distant perversion of their original goal.

Please take a moment to read this post and consider the reality that is going on right under your noses. With a little more awareness we might all be able to do more to help, even if that is simply not to judge those who have subjected to the depressing effects of this govern-mind organization.

Thank you @kenistyles for appreciating the blog and giving a huge shoutout to everyone to check it out. We need more awareness regarding the subject and now we have social media where you are free to express your thoughts and experiences. Cheers and more power to you. :-)

I have clients (I'm a meditation teacher) who are on both sides. Some work for child protective services and others have been visited by them.

It's a vexed issue because within the "mess" there are children who truly are at high risk from their parents. But at the same time CPS can get called for no reason, the wrong reason or even weaponised by an unhappy vindictive party.

In one case the mother had confiscated the teen's phone because he required boundary setting. The teen told a therapist that he was being abused but didn't give the details. The therapist called CPS and they and police turned out. It was resolved quickly but it was a hassle and embarrassing. CPS and the police also turned up at school.

A childhood friend works for CPS in Australia and she regularly deals with children who have drugs in their system and who are physically abused.

Another client of mine had an ex husband who was vindictive and called CPS on her. They came and investigated and caused both the parents trouble.

It's a vexed issue. But I think you are correct in that policing services such as CPS can't necessarily be trusted to do the right thing because they are doing a job in the context of their own difficulties. For example trying to make the job easier for themselves.

So if visited by them I recommend legal protection and to be very aware.

Having said that @hungryhustle I don't believe that they are as you say

They do not want to protect you or your children. They would rather do anything in their own power to hurt you and your family by putting you in legal trouble.

Many if not most do want to protect children and I don't think that most want to hurt you and your family.

I would say that it is somewhere in between. While most are not deliberately out to hurt children as such, they are often up against targets which can cause them to carry out unscrupulous and overzealous behaviours in order to hit them.

I am sorry if it came out too partial or extreme against CPS all over the world. I understand that there are many individuals and organizations which are supporting the Child Abuse Victims. You have cited some good examples to showcase that. Thanks for a thoughtful comment @petervroom. :-)

From this blog, I wanted to draw attention towards the services/agents that are misusing law for their own benefit. And why those people are friendly at all even though they act to be. But I guess I should have mentioned this explicitly in the blog. :(
