Râșnov – What a great view

Râșnov Fortress came back to life with the small shops of the inner courtyard and with the road that was built up. The Valley Stronghold Cave was opened and Dino Park was inaugurated a few years ago, being probably the most beautiful theme park in Romania and the number of tourists beat all the records. And that's not all, there are places to see and activities to do if you come to Râșnov on weekends and that's just the beginning.

Now you can reach the fortress faster and more exciting: with the panoramic elevator. And it does not cost much - 12 lei for adults and 6 lei for children.

In the weekend, the big parking lot at the base of the road that goes up to the city it's full of cars and buses since the early hours of the morning.

The elevator works from 10 to 10 minutes or when it's filled with 20 people, so if it's crowded, you will not wait too long. It only takes 1 and a half minutes to see the great panorama, and that's a performance, as the lift route is 165 meters long and a 94-meter difference.
