Can We Be Immortal?

We are living at a time in which we consider "Old age" is not a fact of life, rather treating as a disease, whose treatment and prevention is possible; if treatment and prevention are not fully possible then it is possible to avoid it for at least a longer period. Our knowledge of old age is growing rapidly and we are trying to know why some creatures live more than other lives. We do not know everything now but we know better about the DNA damage, the imbalance of old age, the metabolic process, the reproductive capacity and they all know about the genes operating better and they are close to bringing it to the control of medicines. The question is not how we will get a long life, the question is how we get a better healthy long life. Many diseases, such as diabetes and cancer, are related to old age; This will be far from these research.
