ANALYZING NATIVE AND ITS DIVISIONS

Cryptocurrency is one of the new and interesting way/method to manage and allocate your saved resources and of course it is exciting as it involves all new services, and initial investment of time and energy is required.

But then, have you ever thought of a community who generate their own unique token and also have the ability and the means to meet and manage effectively their resources using decision making tools?

Native is built based on etherum platform which allows her to create and manage her own unique token currencies using decision making tools. Native is a platform for communities to realize their inherent value. Having said that, my contribution to this contest will includes how to use native platform, the users, and discovery communities, to consider the rule of the contest.

THE USERS
The users of native includes the curators and the members.

The curators are administrators that's controls to make sure that only beneficial content are added for members to view and vote on. They have an understanding about the community vision and also approve or reject content created by members.

While the members have the ability to make important decision on community direction. They have the ability to replace the curators and also join various communities. Membership allows individual to occupy a certain right to engage in communities they are interested in.

HOW TO USE NATIVE PLATFORM

There are majorly 5 steps I will identify to guide users in operating native

Setting up a metamask wallet
Purchasing etherum
Converting those ether to native token
Converting native token to community token
Joint a community.

HOW TO SET UP A METAMASK WALLET

1.Go to metamask.io and click the “Get Chrome Extension” link
2.Click “Add to Chrome”
3.Click “Add extension” in the pop up window
You will now see the MetaMask Fox logo (favicon) where extensions are saved at the top of your chrome browser, next to the address bar. Click the fox icon
4.Create a password (Note: if you forget this password you might lose access to your tokens)
A unique account image will be generated for you. Click “Next”
5.Review and scroll through the “Terms of Use” and click “Accept” if you agree
6.Review the Privacy Notice and click “Accept” if you agree
7.Review the Phishing Warning and click “Accept” if you agree
A Secret Backup Phrase will be generated. Record the backup phrase in multiple locations and click “Next”
8.Confirm your Secret Backup Phrase
You will then be directed to a page called “Deposit Ether”

PURCHASING ETHERUM
ETH can be purchased in two paths which includes:

Mycryto/simplex which could be done in less than 5 minute and
Coinbase which is approximately 15 minutes of operation.

CONVERTING ETHERUM TO NATIVE TOKEN
it's quite simple,

Visit app.nativeproject.one, Since you already downloaded metamask
Proceed to next modal to select option to buy eth if you haven't purchased. If you have already purchased click next
Click get started: a notification from Metamask Will appear. Click "sign" to get access to your metamask wallet and stored currencies.
After signing you will be re-directed to the native platform dashboard where you can easily convert ETH to NTV. in the process, notice that your ETH balance is now displayed at the top left of the screen and your metamask at the top right of the screen.
Input the amount of etherum you would like to convert and make sure the received currency is native token then click "convert"
You will get another notification which will display the USD value of the Etherum your converting. Confirm that the data is appropriate and click "confirm".
You will get a green notification as soon as the conversion process is done that's the purchase was successful.

CONVERTING NATIVE TOKEN TO COMMUNITY TOKEN.

click dashboard
Scroll to "your communities" section and click on community you would like to support. The minimum amount of community token required to join that community will be displayed, then click convert
You will receive a notification from metamask requesting you to confirm. Click confirm.
After the task is completed a notification will pop up that your purchase is successful.

JOINING A COMMUNITY

Go to communities page at the top right of the post menu bar
View the community you want to support and click support at the top right of the community banner.
An amount of community token will show up, this is required community token in other to join the community. Click join community.
Metamask Will appear requesting you to confirm the conversion. Click confirm. Once done, a notification of your transaction being successful will appear.
