Class Project! Exhibition on Animal Reproduction! (Courtship)

in #steempress5 years ago (edited)

Hello friends of @steemiteducation, it's a pleasure to greet you today and I wanted to bring you a different post, my little Sophia is in 3rd Grade of Basic Education and I had to do a small exhibition about Animal Reproduction and Courtship, and I wanted to take this as a focal point for my publication, so as to be able to transmit to you the small research that we did and that you can take as a reference to teach your children and even to dictate a class in their classrooms if they are teachers.

Our research focused on Animal Courtship, which is enhanced by some animals prior to mating, which usually includes ritual complexes with which animals learn to recognize themselves and to decide if they mate or not.

It is important to know that as the animals are able to speak with words, they have developed a very strong body language, which can include dances, come and see, collisions, encounters, fights, certain sounds, swelling of their bodies, changes of colors, other things.

We wanted to bring you the videos we studied to put the examples that Sophia used in her exhibition so that they learn and at the same time be pleasantly surprised of how the animals are able to devise these things and engineer them to be able to mate.

The peacock! An animal that leaves us fascinated with the beautiful procession that makes her in love!

Peacocks use their tails to perform their courtship, open it in all its splendor from the dorsal part until it touches the floor on each side. The females usually choose their male depending on size, brightness and the quality of these beautiful tails.

Blowfish! How not to conquer his female with the work of art that he creates on the seabed.

The Japanese Balloon Fish, creates works of art on the sea floor, which usually makes to fall in love with his female, with the help of his body and his tail moves the sand to form this beauty they saw in the video.

This Gardener creates a beautiful garden for his beloved!

This fascinating bird creates a garden full of diversity of objects, and builds a dwelling to attract its female, it is amazing what animals can do in order to reproduce.

The purpose of these courtships is for the animals to recognize each other and mate so as to reproduce and preserve the species, the animals can not spend so much time falling in love since they have to mate at specific times and seasons, to the human counterparts. This is why love between them usually emerges at first sight.

The children are full of curiosity and if we look for the most practical and didactic strategies that we can they will be happy to learn, my Soup loved the research we did and was fascinated with the different courtships that he saw. I hope this publication will help you and motivate you to undertake projects with your children and be able to create and earn quality moments with them at the same time you educate them.

Greetings and see you in the next publication!
