Esta fotografía que tomara recientemente, muestra las puertas de entrada que dan la bienvenida a los visitantes que acuden al Museo de Barquisimeto, ubicado en el casco central de la ciudad. Al final puede observarse la Capilla San Miguel, estructura levantada en el año 1924 cuando en esta edificación funcionaba el Hospital de la Caridad. En esta capilla, los pacientes y familiares acudían para levantar sus plegarias al cielo, procurando recuperar la salud perdida, o en el peor de los casos, buscando el consuelo divino ante la pérdida de un ser amado.

La imagen original en colores, la modifiqué haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que proporciona el editor PicsArt, para lo cual empleé una superposición de filtros: en primer lugar, uno del tipo HDR (High Dynamic Range) con la finalidad de ampliar los tonos de la fotografía original, y posteriormente un filtro sencillo de Blanco & Negro, para obtener el resultado que hoy comparto con todos ustedes.

This photograph that I took recently, shows the entrance doors that welcome visitors to the Museum of Barquisimeto, located in the central part of the city. In the end you can see the Saint Michael Chapel, a structure built in 1924 when the Charity Hospital worked in this building. In this chapel, patients and relatives came to raise their prayers to heaven, trying to recover their lost health, or in the worst case, seeking divine comfort in the face of the loss of a loved one.

The original image in colors, I modified it using the editing tools provided by the PicsArt editor, for which I used a filter overlay: first, one of the type HDR (High Dynamic Range) for the purpose to expand the tones of the original photograph, and then a simple Black & White filter, to obtain the result that I share with you all today.
