Instagram is now the place to be when it comes to uploading your photos for business. Since Facebook has acquired this social media platform it is certainly ahead of its rivals such as Pinterest. And coupling this acquisition with the ability to promote via Facebook Ads offers businesses and companies a solid foundation on which to base their social media promotions.

If your business offers a range of products, Instagram is the perfect place to showcase these using high quality photographs as well as short and snappy descriptions to promote them, after all and as the sub heading of this blog, a picture paints a 1000 words.
And by sharing to Instagram you are opening up your wares to a whole new genre of social media users, as Instagram is a little more complex to post to than Facebook and other social media platforms, you may want to consider the number of posts on a weekly basis to be less than you post to the other social networks. Having said that, if you use a software suite built to handle this, such as Hootsuite, you can post directly from your laptop and/or PC and at the same time you post to the other networks, (As long as you are including a photograph.)
Overall Instagram is an overlooked opportunity to a lot of businesses and even if you do not proactively post to Instagram you should seriously consider having a presence on there to attract new clients, customers and business.
