He was an imposing painter, lover of art and culture, was a person with whom you could talk and soak up the knowledge that man emanated. He stopped studying engineering to devote himself exclusively to being a painter in which, he was quite successful due to his eccentricity when using colors in compositions with great personality, his works were so acclaimed that, even during the Second World War he was praised by the Nazis, asking for commissions which would lead him to stain his name as a collaborator of this detestable ideal, when really everything he built was for the love of art and to be able to do it to live, outside of all political tendencies. He stood out in themes such as landscapes, portraits, still lifes and as he expressed his outgoing personality in his paintings, that way he lived his life, among different lovers, he died in a very abrupt way at age 74 hit by a truck.

Waterloo bridge

It is a painting made with oil on canvas has so much harmony with its brushstrokes similar to that of the Impressionists in quick but precise touches, conceiving rhythm to the composition, it is a painting that you could hang in the living room of your house and never get tired of admiring it for the beautiful flashes of colors that are like a breath of fresh air that contrast between a cold and warm range that falls like rain and gradually degrades from the yellow found in the upper right corner where it alternates in different shades of pink to finish in green, resting his gaze on what divides the horizon line, representing what might be factories in a cobalt blue that nuance with pink and violet, thus contemplating the London Waterloo Bridge that stands in the middle of the composition continuing the visual journey towards the city that does it in a shade of blue sky on the right side to represent the remoteness of it, a yellow strip with white touches is built along the same path, to finally flood into the beautiful water that makes its way to the boats that are resting there.
