This is the 1993 Australian Silver Kangaroo 1 oz coin. The Kangaroo used to be capsuled and had different designs every year until recently since 2015 it has no capsule and has same design every year up to 2019.

I think it's more interesting to have different design every year, and with capsule people would be willing to pay the little extra. It's true that an ounce of silver is an ounce of silver, but you be the judge
These are perfect to give as gifts especially to children.
