1/10 Indian Gold Coin
It's been a little bit since I've posted about the coins I've been collecting lately. Being involved in three big contests got me sidetracked but I wanted to show off my new Indian Head gold coin. Many people in #ssg-community have plenty of these, but since it's my first I'm awfully excited.
I managed to get a good sale like my one favorite hippies @armshippie, he always seems to get all the good deals and maybe I'm picking up some of his luck because I got this for $120 USD. Boom! In addition, I was able to pick up some more silver coins that I'll share at another time. I have to work sparingly since we have a quota to make to stay in the group now.
The American Indian Gold Coin price sheet is a bit complicated for a new person and I still get a little confused with how pricing "should" go. Now that I'm looking at it, I think a year should be printed on the front.
I'm sure some of the guys will come buy and "tell" me their perspective.
It's amazing to me that this tiny little coin is worth so much, APMEX gives us a little information on this coin:
Round Highlights:
-Contains 1/10 oz of .9999 fine Gold.
-Multiples of 10 are packaged in tubes. Individual rounds come in protective packaging.
-The design of these rounds is based on the original coin issued by the U.S. Mint. These rounds carry no actual face value.
-Obverse: Features an image of a Native American chief surrounded by 15 small stars and the word "Liberty".
-Reverse: Depicts an American eagle with Gold weight and purity.
Regardless of its smallness, I'm pretty happy with the purchase. SSG Forevah!

I'm not a member but post in the general chit chat room occasionally. I'm starting to get a lot more interested in the smaller coins like that. It makes it surprisingly accessible to folks with very limited funds.
I was initially drawn here from the knife in your photo. I'm a spyderco guy as well lol. Hey, that knife probably cost around the same as the coin, no? cool to think of products by value relative to sound money. ;)

this is a special addition, i live near the outlet so they give a huge discount for just walking in, the store is amazin and i mean amazin!! i took tons of shots i just haven't posted it. TBC ... hehe

It’s been a very rough two weeks. Had to move my shop, it’s been a nightmare. Haven’t had much time, been working like a dog trying to get set back up. It doesn’t matter the size of the piece, just as long as you are buying gold and silver. But I love the Indian head coins. Thanks for stopping by my friend.👍
