Spreadin' Some More Love

A while back, there was this huge raffle for the #steemsilvergold community in which @thedamus had put up what is known as one of the 'Pieces of Eight'. It literally looks like a pirate doubloon and even has a skull and crossbones on it. I wanted it like super frig'n bad. I unfortunately, did not win it. I forget who did, but I do remember some people winning multiple draws. But anyway, shortly after, Cap'n Blackbeard asked me for my address.

I figured, ya sure, here's my address buddy. I could only guess he was going to send me some sort of consolation prize for the raffle. @ssg-community members are pretty well known for their generosity after all. I have consistently gotten extra from them in any raffles or contests I've actually won. It started with @goldenarms when he sent me some mini bars for my princesses. Everyone since, @underground, @armshippie, all of 'em, have sent more than I actually won. Today, I got a package from @thedamus.

So I tear into this thing and my hands start frig'n shakin. Dude. I don't have a whole lot of words left for the rest of this post, I'll be honest. This is my new favorite piece of silver and the son-of-a-bitch even threw in some Canadian pieces on top of that BADASS MOTHER FUKKIN' Piece of 8 you seein'! Seriously @thedamus? Who the fuck does that? I didn't win it, didn't buy it, didn't even ask for it outside of showing a severe lust during the raffle. Maybe it's his way of christening me as a bona fide pirate? Honestly don't know, but after Atlanta, we coming out to the Northwest my man, FOR SURE.
