A little more scrap for the stack

Hey all,

I had a chance to stop by a thrift shop today. I didn't make off like a bandit or anything, but I did OK.

75g scrap sterling, though when I went through the bag, some of it will be repaired and not scrapped, and a few pieces may not be silver at all! Well, that's the risk I guess, when you buy bulk bags of jewelry.

I picked up this sweet vintage Waltham 25 jewel automatic

Then I polished it up and put a $7.00 Timex leather band on it.

And I found a .925 sterling money clip. This thing's awesome,

Not a bad haul from that shop.

But wait, there's more!

I arrived home to a little package on my counter. An Amazon order came in! I ordered a ceramic crucible, for gold and silver melting, and this sweet bar. I'm still waiting on the crucible, but this came. I used a gift card for the purchase as well, so it was all free!!!

      I have never found silver at my local shops, I am totally jealous! That money clip is a great piece

      thanks! the money clip was the first thing I spotted. I thought it was pretty sweet. and was under spot at $7.00
