So i have got one of the coins i keep in my wallet out to show you under the macro lense attached to my phone.

The coin is a 1954 D franklin half dollar,
Metal 0.900 silver
Weight 12.5g
Mintage 25.4 million

The coin has seen better days but it is fine for keeping in my wallet, it is a type 1 style and this you cab tell by looking at the ammount of feathers to the left of the perch.

Type 1 has four feathers
Type 2 has three feathers

Are there different values depending on the type it is? I have 5 Franklins, I think and I never knew about that different types.

There is also the bugs bunny variety, where franklin has two bucked teeth
