EMK a german coindealer for the high end of market
With some gold and 20 silver coins arriving from Germany tomorrow, I can still quickly discuss that other German dealer where I only look and never buy. This is EMK Edelmetalle in Hamburg.

What is EMK
First of all many know that Andrea "the Coincouch" the lady and now mother from downunder works for EMK if I am correct. She reports on YT from coin fairs and so on. But that is not the most important.
EMK has everything
Where the other 30 dealers in Germany all have the regular panda's it is EMK who sell the gold 50, 100 and 150 gramm gold panda.
Where some have the new South Africa BIG5 Elephant it is EMK who sells the duo silver set and of course the gold one.

Best buy
The best buy I could find is their 2018 gold proof libertad set which is set at a fixed price and did not follow the rise in goldprice yet. It is for sale for EUR 2695 which is not too bad for 1,9 OZ of proof gold coins.
So now you know what EMK is and belive they are good but as said at the high end....

I am already familiar with Andrea's channel 'The Coin Couch' and her affiliation with EMK. Pretty High end quality products alright.
Never heard of before. Nice site. Do you have any recommended gold coins for investing? I thought the lunar series from Rwanda was promising, but it seems to have a pretty slow development after a good start with Year of the rooster. I buy gold for "wealthprotection" so closest to spot and these can be sold in times of trouble easily for spot again. Numismatic coins : there are far too many coins so they are hard to sell in the future; Only the proof coins like ducats (NL) sovereigns (UK) (proof libertads) and some other countries have large collector groups. But they are expensive already at the start. So stick to spot is my advice.
