Ray's Coin Shop
Back before RCS was so christened, RB, the man himself, offered up an unbelievable deal on a whole bunch of tasty silver morsels, which I promptly gobbled up. I've been traveling so I haven't had a chance to do an inventory post until now. Let's take a look at the buffet I picked up.
To begin, an apertif front group shot.
The silvelier suggests that our meal would pair nicely with a couple of 1982 prospectors from the Engelhard region. Always a classic choice and an excellent vintage.
Let's start with an appetizer sampler for the table, featuring two nicely aged trade unit rounds, and a Trident, imported from Barbados (by way of Scottsdale).
Next we move on to a duet plate, featuring Thomas Jefferson and Candian Arctic Wolves.
And now on to our main course, which features a whimsical take on the classic double bar pairing. Two opposite but complementary ounces. The old standard and the newcomer. The yin and the yang. Timeless refinement and nouveau excitement together in one course. JM and the Dragon.
For dessert, a dark chocolatey brown buffalo round.
And as a digestif to close out the evening, a backside group shot.
I hope this tantalizing trip has awakened your silver buds and inspired you to sample a variety of silvinary delights on your own. And thanks to @raybrockman for the great deal. Bon appetit.
That's quite the silver meal. I hope you enjoyed it. I know that I sure did. You picked the right restaurant. ;)
Great pick-ups from RB, my friend!
That was an awesome presentation of the shiny. Should you ever want to part ways with one of those prospectors, let me know. Or we could do some trading.
I will keep that in mind if I decide I only need 1 of them. You'll be my first point of contact.
A beautiful group of shiny and toned silver. A good blend.
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
Wow... An ounce of silver for One Dollar in U.S. Coinage, after the reset... It even looks like the Queen is in on it... If you're wondering what the Crazy Man is saying... It's all part of my Pocket Change Theory...
