# 160 - America the Beautiful - Part 13
Continuing the State Quarters series, the US Mint started in 2010 a new series depicting a national park or national site, one from each state, the District of Columbia, and each territory. It is called "America the Beautiful".
They will be issued in the order of which that park or site was deemed a national site.
Each year five different coins representing five different parks or sites will be minted.
All the coins obverses show the same profile of George Washington and the reverses were usually chosen in popular contests in each state.
Here are three more coins issued in this series.
The first is the 2017 "Ozark National Scenic Riverways" in Missouri. It was deemed a National Park on August 27, 1964. The obverse depicts Alley Mill.
The second is the 2017 "George Rogers Clark National Historical Park" in Indiana. It was deemed a National Park on July 23, 1966. The obverse depicts George Rogers Clark leading his men through the flooded plains approaching Fort Sackville.
The third is the 2017 "Ellis Island (Statue of Liberty National Monument)" in New Jersey. It was deemed a National Park on May 11, 1965. The obverse depicts an immigrant family approaching Ellis Island.

Are you amazed about the quantity of new U.S. Quarters, being injected into the U.S. Population...??? And it's not just the Quarter Dollars... I have a feeling, it's all part of The Plan... If so, I have to assume the Plan has been in the Works for many years...
The mintage of each quarter from the America the Beautiful series is similar to the mintage of each quarter of the State Quarters series and that is similar to the Washington Quarters pre-State Quarters. So, the Plan is very old...
