# 163 - A Few More Koalas

I am a koala fan.

Due to my love for koalas, I have all the 1oz coins minted by Perth Mint since 2007. When I completed my collection, I started searching koala coins with other weights and I found the two below.

They are 1/2 oz coins, with 99.9% silver purity and Brilliant Uncirculated finish.

Their design is the same as the 1oz coin of each respective year.

    I started buying koalas in 2016. I bought the 2015 and 2016. In 2017, after buying the year koala, I slowly started buying the old ones, till I completed the collection in early 2018.

      Nice - for me I keep finding new things that I want just a little more, Pit stuff, whatever RCS is selling, MPM, and I still need to get my first Mutiny Metals stuff... .

        I’ve said this before but the 2017 was the very first silver I bought for myself! Just this past December. And Koalas are the first series I completed. Now look what’s happened. I’ve gone silver crazy. 🤣

          There are 1kg, 10oz, 1oz and 1/2 oz. From 2018 on, they are minting a 2oz koala, that I will certainly collect. 1kg is too much love for koalas...
